Disconnected D drive

While copying a CD, my spouse inadvertently seems to have "disconnected the D drive from the network".  The "D" drive no longer shows up under "My Computer".   How can I restore it?

I didn't really help at all, but you are quite welcome.

    Hi,

The drive does not show in "My Computer" on the system it is installed in, or on the LAN network?
