PROBLEM Please Help!!!

Hi I ave a problem with one of the dells we have here at work.
 
Basically you cannot press the same key twice in a row!! if you want to type ee you would have to press e > space > backspace > e !! very annoying especially as its used for stock code entry so any numbers in a sequence get very annoying.
 
Has anyone ever seen this before, I have been in IT for quite some time but never seen it!!

    The first thing I'd do is swap the keyboard with a known good one and see if that helps.

    Hi -yer it was the first thing I did!

    Tried re-booting, thought it might be the program but it happens in all progs.

    doh!

    any other ideas?

    Have you checked your Accessibility Options in the Control Panel? Make sure everything like "Sticky Keys," "Toggle Keys," and "Filter Keys" are all turned off.
