slow clock
I have a dimensions L933r with me OS. My clock doesn't keep correct time. It will lose about 5 to 10 minutes in two or three days. I don't think it is the battery because I never turn the machine off. Any clues?

- My older IBM, running Win 95, always lost time.
I installed this:

My new Dell gains time...you would think a computer would have an excellent clock.... Especially with Win XP, LOL. It has an auto syn but it doesn't work and your suppose to keep it turned off.
Oh well, the above site will fix your problem. I have it on my Dell, it's free.
My wife's little PCS phone keeps perfect time.

Hi,
Computers are not really very good time keepers. The most common cause is a progam running in the background, or power management settings.
You can fret over the cause or just use one of many time updaters you can find on the net.
Try here-

This is what I use-
