Slow computer?

I recently reformatted my computer and my computer is back up again with drivers and such. But there's one problem that I've never had before: my computer is slow when I move around windows, browse the internet, etc. On Windows Task Manager, the System Idle Process goes from 95% to around 40-50% and my CPU usage can go up dramatically too. Any suggestions?

What OS are you using and have all of the updates been updated?

You should have automatic updated enabled through windows. If not set it that way. A lot of times an udated will fix your problem but even if it doesn't they are important. Just click on programs and then click on the update tab, which should be at the top somewhere.

I'm up to date with microsoft updates because I manually downloaded updates and I also had microsoft updates turned on. Still have the same problem. Maybe I did something wrong during reformatting, but I don't think I did.
