STILL FUNCTIONING?
I have an XPS 600 that need more RAM, but wonder if the motherboard will not handle what I want. I presently have 2x2GB cards in 2 of the 4 available slots. I was trying to install at least 8GB of RAM, will that be possible on this "dinosaur". the model no. on the m.board is: CN-OGC375-13740-5AN-0055.
Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

8 Gigs works fine if you have an EMT64 CPU.
You will want at least a Pentium D 900 series cpu like the 915 . Always update to whatever is the latest bios Before changing Cpu.
