Studio 540 Bios Update

Does anybody have done a bios update to version 1.0.7 released 12/15/2009?, I did it, but I think someone made a mistake , when I went to the bios pressing F2, and for my surprise the BIOS info shows,  Bios Info: 1.0.7   11/25/08, I try to get help from technical support but the guy told me they cannot help me because I bought Windows 7 from Amazon.

    Dell software support, if that's what it is, is not free - they charge regardless of OS.  However, your problem is not "software", as the Operating System has nothing to do with the BIOS.  When you first boot the PC and enter the BIOS you have not accessed or loaded the Operating System.

    Second, this is the Desktop AUDIO section - for audio problems.

    But it doesn't look like there was a mistake.  This is what the Dell download lists for "Fixes and Enhancements":
