Where to put?

Hi
I have just bought a new video card and I need more power and must connect a cable to somewhere but I dont know?
I have a Dell Dimension 8200 with Geforce 6600 GT.

    you connect the extra molar cable from inside to the back of the 6600gt, your computer will have enough power for it

    But I need power somewhere and I dont know where to put the cable in the computer :smileytongue:

    As I recall, my D8200 didn't have a spare molex connector but my video card did come with a y-splitter so I pulled the power connector to my hard drive, attached it to the splitter and then attached one end back on the hard drive and the other end to the video card. If your card didn't come with a splitter then you can get one for a few dollars at your local computer store. My card said to use the hard drive. Some folks recommend using the power connector from an optical drive.

    Oh sorry I am a little bit tierd.

    but i have really big "sticks" at the back of my video card and I dont know where to find a cable that fits the "sticks" (or pins dont know).

    wich one do you have mine is really big and its hard to see if it would fit on those pictuers.

    The pin size is standardized. Those connectors will fit. They are standardized too.
