Windows 98 Reinstall

I run a home network, and would like to reinstall Windows 98 Second Edition on my router computer, but I really dont want to re-enter my network setting. Is there any way to reinstall windows 98 without getting rid of these settings?

    Nope :).

You can have retain 1)data , 2)program files folder but not network settings that reside mostly on Windows folder.

    For 1+2) attrib -r -s -a -h *.* on C:\
    Then, delete *.*
    then deltree C:\windows
then, put in ur boot disk
    then insert the CDROM
    then restart system
if the system restart w/o prompting u to install Win98
type [Drive]:\Win98\setup (Drive is the drive letter of your CDROM)

*Before u do this, pls make sure u have Win98SE boot Disk that comes with ur system.

I think you know this already, :) . Good luck anyway.

    regards,
