A/C Adapter Compatibility
I've got a Dell Latitude D610. The A/C adapter cord is frayed where it attaches to the laptop and wherfe the other end attaches to the power pack hat then plugs into the wall socket. At some point soon it will stop working.
It is a 65 W adapter. Model # LA65NSO-OO (or is it 0-00 at the end?). A/C 100-240 V, 50-60 Hz, 19.5 V, 3.34A.
I've found another Dell adapter - 65 W adapter. Model # PA-1650-0502. A/C 100 - 240 v, 50 - 60 Hz, 19.5 V, 3.34A.
While the model #'s are different, as long as it is a Dell adapter with the same W,m V, Hz, A, is it ok to use?
thanks

If the specs are all the same, then it should work. The only real issue you should see is if your original adapter was a 90 watt and you try to use a 65 watt adapter to power a docking station. Other than that, the part numbers are generally interchangeable.
