Broken Left CTRL Key

So, basically the subject says it..

Its broken, as in one of the mini clips is straight gone, i noticed it when the ctrl key was not seating correctly, and i pushed down on it to get it in place, and it clicked, and now the small plastic piece is gone

I don't think my dell is under warranty any more

its a m1330 xps laptop.

I looked on ebay, but doesn't seem like theres any parts for dell laptops

Any other suggestions?

    Replace the keyboard.

    One good parts source:  http://www.parts-people.com/index.php?action=item&id=4700

If the key mount is broken, a replacement key won't help - replace the keyboard.

You can of course replace just a key. my key cap popped off and I ordered the key from here and they sent me the key cap with the retainer clips (plastic pieces). Good service.

The best alternate for you is to replace your dell laptop key that is broken. Check out Replacement Laptop Keys; they provide you laptop keys online at just $4.95 each.
