Check Disk message at boot up
I'm starting to get this message about every 3rd or 4th time I turn the computer on. I've got an M1330 notebook with a Vista Pre. OS
'one of your disks needs to be checked for consistency'
'chkdsk is verigying files'
Anybody know what may cause this?
The computer seems to run fine after it goes through this process.
Thanks

If chkdsk displays "0kB in bad sectors" when it's finished, your hard drive is fine. Try running a system diagnostic at startup (F12). It'll tell you if you have a hardware fault.mfinnan101

No problem at all.
If it does return an error contact Dell with the error code.
