Will perform what you suggested and get back to you.

    Two questions though:

    1. How do I check which version BIOS I currently have on my PC?
    2. While in Device Manager, I noticed an exclamation mark next to Bluetooth Peripheral Device (see photo); how can I correct this?

    Hi Leonardo,

You can uninstall and re install the drivers:

    • Click on “Start” and right click on “Computer”.
    • Click on “Manage”.
    • Click on “Device Manager”.
    • Under “Display adapters”, you will find the video driver listed.
    • Right click on it and click on “uninstall”. (Check and make a note of the driver installed on your system and re-install the driver from the below steps accordingly).
    • Check the box to delete the software.
    • Restart your system and click on the below link: http://dell.to/Ny3XYJ
    • Enter the Service Tag of your system and select the operating system.
    • You will find the video driver under “Video”.
    • Click on the video driver depending on the video card your system has. (Install the same video driver which you uninstalled from “Device Manager”.
    • Click on “Download File”.
    • Select “For Single File Download via Browser”.
    • Click on “Download Now”.
    • Save the driver on your desktop.
    • Once the driver is saved on desktop, right click on it and select “Run as administrator”.
    • Install the video driver by following the on screen instructions.
    • Check if the issue is resolved or not.

If the issue still persists, update the system BIOS.

Note: Make sure the ac adapter is connected and the battery is charged 10% or above to update the BIOS. Also, disconnect all the external peripherals before updating the BIOS. All other programs should be closed and documents saved

    • Click on the below link:  http://dell.to/Ny3XYJ
    • Click on “Download File”.
    • Select “For Single File Download via Browser”.
    • Click on “Download Now”.
    • Save the BIOS on your desktop.
    • Once the BIOS is downloaded on the desktop, right click on it and select “Run as administrator”.
    • Follow the prompts on screen and restart your computer.

You can also check the reliability monitor of your computer and let me know the critical events on the date and time display driver stopped working.

To access the Windows reliability monitor, you can follow the steps below:
    • Click on Windows logo on desktop.
    • Type "Reliability Monitor" into the search box above that.

    • Click on it and you will see a similar window as shown below (Just an example):

    1. Red Cross states the critical events and crash down.
    2. An exclamation mark in blue circle refers to the information.

Check for the errors that you get in reliability monitor which will have details of 'critical events' , 'summary' and date.

    Please reply with the findings.

when you see the dell logo tap f2 key. There you will find the bios version. Or alternatively go to start - run and type msinfo32. You can get the bios version.

For the latest video drivers visit Intel.com download center. Choose your video Chipset type, operating system and download.

    Hi Leonardo,

You can follow the steps to check the BIOS version following the steps given by Veejdeej. In 'Device Manager' the yellow bang on the Bluetooth Peripheral Device indicates that driver for the bluetooth device that you are trying to connect with computer needs installation.

May I know which device are you trying to connect via bluetooth?

    Please reply with information.
