Hi,

I have a dell Xps l502x:

core i7 2670qm 2.2ghz

16gig ddr3 ram 1333

nvidia 540m 2gig

windows 7 64bit professional

I am experiencing a graphics related issue:

The laptop screen will change to a random colour (such as blue, green, pink, red etc)

This happens randomly and usually the laptop will come back to normal or go black and I will have to restart the system.

An error message appears in the notification bar which states: the Intel graphics cad has recovered...

This happens at random even when the laptop is not under heavy usage.

Please note: this began only after I installed a recent set of windows updates (perhaps this is the cause?)

Is there any way to fix this?
