Hi, my latitude 110L laptop went bad, it won't start (only for a few seconds and then shutsdown).

I took it apart and belive to have narrowed it down to one faulty component marked as "PQ35"

It's an 8 pin dip smd component near the power jack, as it's burned I can't read the number printed on it...

My question is  what is this part? (I know that Q means transistor, is the P some kind of prefix?) or even specifically what's the part full number.

Any help would be very appreciated :)
