Lost Battery Status Indicator after Java update.

Following a Java Update Request, I no longer have a battery status indicator on my taskbar.

(Windows 10)

Any idea how to get it back?

    Hi Cambridge Chris

    Thanks for writing to us.

    Try the following steps.

right-click on the taskbar itself, and select “Properties” now click on taskbar, and select notification area and then customize . You should see all the options/icons which should appear/not appear in the taskbar.

    Select as required.

Do provide us your system tag#, email address and name via private message,by clicking on my name in blue and then select send a private message

    Regards

Thanks.  The above procedure restored the taskbar indicator, which remained OK for a few days.

Now it has disappeared again.  Repeating the procedure does not work.

I can get a message box by plugging or unplugging the power, which allows me to click "show settings", which shows the state of the battery charge.  But having an indication on the taskbar is better ..... when it chooses to appear.

    Any further ideas?
