PLEASE HELP

I just ran a Dell Diagnogstics Express Test (you can read about my problem in my first post ( http://forums.us.dell.com/supportforums/board/message?board.id=insp_general&message.id=196954)F

And while runnning the test i got this message:

Error Code 0F00:136C
Msg:IDE device failed: Blank media or no media is preset in optical drive. Test requires media with digital data (Resource CD, Instalation CD)

I'm not sure if this has anything to do with  my problem but i was wondering if anyone could help me follow up on this; so i can prevent my problem(in the link above) for happening again

Thanks in advance

I haven't ran that test, but usually that means it is checking for a disk in the drive and you happen to not have a disk in the drive, a.k.a. no worries.

You need to do the 32bit diagnostics..

Put in your "Drivers And Utilities" CD, boot your computer, press F12 when seeing the dell logo.

Start from the CD-rom, and run the diag.

Post back when you get a more specific error message.
Hopefully someone will know what it means ;)
