Probably a function of your sound scheme. Open control panel sounds. Click on the sounds tab and note the settings under the sound scheme.

    Hi,

Stab in the dark here, but did you somehow accidentally turn on something in Accessibility Options?

Check Control Panel, Accessibility Options, and make sure everything under keyboard is unchecked.... Also, make sure everything under sound is unchecked...

Good luck...Let us know if it works.....
