You need to be a little more explicit in telling us whats wrong, did you receive any errors when you installed the printer drivers? Does the printing give you any errors when printing? Are you using the same printer cable, if not, the cable that you are using may not be bi-directional.
Another thing make sure the printer port is enabled and set to the proper setting epp, ecp within the bios. The printer documentation should tell you what it needs.
