Problems with Dell Tech Concierge

I received a call from Dell informing me of the Concierge service and they got into my PC and installed the program.

The next day my pc froze every time I tried to open a web page from my favorites from the start menu.

I also have quickbooks and the program would not open and froze.

I restarted the pc several times and same thing happened all times

I have a 17 inch XPS that's two years old and never had a problem with the pc until this program was installed.

I uninstalled the program and PC is running fine again.

I paid $130 for the 3 incident contract until 10/13

They told me this new service was free to install and cost would be $140 for unlimited contract for a year for one PC

The$239 advertised is for first time customers that never paid for any support contracts.

I paid for a 3 incident contract for a year and Dell explained that unlimited Dell Concierge would only cost $139

The price you list should be $239 but since its not you did not get what you are describing.

This is not a scam.  I was contacted by Dell a week ago out of the clear blue and not comfortable installing the software.  I thought it may be a scam.  I than called Dell back and found out it was legit and had them install the software on my PC.

    gary64,

But it doesn't do you any good if it keeps crashing the computer.

Did you contact the 1-877-790-3355 number to find out why it's crashing your computer?

I un-installed the program----My pc was working fine before they called me from Dell and now working fine after I un=installed it.  I'm just angry and annoyed that they put out this crap without testing it completely
