You do not give nearly enough information to help you diagnose the issue.

What was on the web page that may interfere with IE?

    Flash?

    Real Audio?

It could be related to a bad plugin for IE.

Something may be corrupt in IE.

What web page does it crash on?

Does IE even load the page?  Part of the page?

Give as much detail as you can.

You may not want to ugrade to IE8, but at least upgrade to IE 7.0 and make sure it is updated with all the MS updates issued since the version came out.

    Thanks for the advise...:smileyhappy:

I see you're listing this laptop components, so I wonder if there is anything to look for specifically,

or just go on MS website and download IExplorer 7?

You should just be able to go to MS website and download IE7.  The laptop details listed are just my signature and are found in all my posts.
