TrueMobile 1150 Client Manager

I'm having a problem getting connection to my Linksys router Access Point.  When I go to the Client Manager and create a profile (I use the default, also no wep or anything is enabled).  I get an error that says I can't get an address and then a box comes up that says CMDEL (in the top left) It says, "The control panel applet does not function correctly or a old version is used."

Please help.

Thanks.

    Dino,

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.

Make sure that you have the latest drivers installed for the TM 1150.  You should also look at the hints on the product documentation page.

where do i find the drivers for client manager, i've look but can't seem to find.  also, the client manager is communicating with the linksys router.  it grabs the mac and channel and the signal strength is strong.  i'm running windows 2000 pro.

    thanks.

I'm having the Same problem and I've tried to install the latest drivers.  I'm also using a W2K laptop, SP4.  The drivers work, except for the error "The control applet does not work properly....." which the boss doesn't want to see.  It seems to happen if I try to create or modify a profile on the software client manager.

    Please help!  Thanks.
