I just bought a Dell Inspiron 1470 Lap Top with Windows 7. I have a PC with Asus board and Win XP SP3 Professional. I use a wireless mouse on it on a USB2 Hub I have been downloading files onto aToshiba memory stick and uploading them into my Dell. When I plug these sticks back into the PC I have trouble with the mouse and the Saitek Flight control units for MS Flight Simulator 2004 running under USB Ports. These items cease to work. I have to unplug the Toshiba stick and cold boot the computer to get the mouse and Flight Controls to work. Is my way of plugging the Toshiba Memory Stick from the PC to the Dell and Back to the PC causing trouble with the UBS ports software? Is there a correct procedure for this action, or am I doing the wrong thing?
