2407WFP Issues
I have just received my 2407WFP and imediately noticed problems with it. I have the A02 revision of the screen with the latest firmware and I can tell you that banding issues are still present. Looking at still images can be quite dissapointing!
I have also discovered that the left side of the screen is brighter then the right particular at the very ends of both sides. To test I simply displayed a complete white screen then ran my eyes left to right to see the varriance in brightness and contrast which indicates a uniformity issue.
Then to top it of there is a manafacturing fault with the stand itself where the screen will not sit perfectly horizontal its between 5 and 10 degrees of and is extremely noticeable. Oh and I forgot I have a dead pixel as well.
This is my first screen from dell and although it was a great price these issues really negate the price factor. I have contacted dell for a replacement and we will see if these faults are corrected.
Anyway just wanted to share my experience with this screen it deffinently still has problems regardless of A02 revision lets hope dell make another revision and get it right!

bigads, i just read your post after i posted mine, i also have the issue where the LCD will not sit perfectly horizontal and yes it is quite noticable... :(- Its because of this screens size that makes it so noticible, its a really bad defect with the stand I hope the next one I get is better Id hate to think all the stands are like this, it would portray very bad quality testing and assurance on dells behalf which I feel is the case with this screen model. Too may people are simply having the same recurring issues with this screen!
- With all the problems evident in this screen you would think dell would be jumping of there seats to fix it. This really is damaging there rep as a competive quality LCD provider, why dont they realise this? Im not looking forward to getting my replacement as I beleive its going to still have problems and if that happens unless they can tell me there making a revision ill have no choice but to ask for a refund and by a more exspensive screen using the same panel as the dell 2407WFP which is the Samsung 244T. The samsung has none of the issues that the dell screen has. Its time for dell to make a mends for there mistake!
