AC511, Static, U2414H

Hello,

I just received my new monitor (u2414h) and soundbar (ac511) and I'm really enjoying it for the most part, but there are some issues I noticed. First, the monitor has this washed out look in some of the corners. I can really notice it when looking at some dark images or watching a movie and the scene is dark, it makes it look a bit washed out. Second, the soundbar has a lot of static when I use the headphone jack on it. When I plug headphones directly into computer, the static isn't there. Anything I can do to resolve these problems?

We have static issues on the AC511 too.  It is very frustrating.  No resolution though.  Sorry.

That's a shame. I'm debating if I should exchange it for being possibly defective or return for refund for being a product flaw. I've tried it on several other computers since it's just a usb speaker and all computers give the same result.

The AC511 comes with a one year warranty. Contact Order Support, give them the Dell order number. Have them issue an exchange.

Forgot my old login, so had to make a new account.

I got the exchange setup and recieved it today, and it has the same buzzing sound. It's not as loud as the first one, but you can still hear it, especially when you use the headphone jack. I think this a product flaw and it's not properly protected from electronic interference. I think I'm just going to go for a refund at this point.

I had suffered same buzz (hum) noise from the AC511 for years, and I have just solved the problem today !

The source of the noise was cordless phone near the LCD monitor.

Smartphone can cause the similar buzz noise.
