Got a new Dell 1905FP monitor. It is set up correctly to the recommended resolution and refresh rate. Everything is great with one exception. When I first set up up the monitor, the fonts were too light. This was especially noticeable with menu items (e.g. in MS Word) and in dialog boxes. I enabled ClearType, but now the fonts are too dark. I tried changing brightness and contrast but this was no help.

BTW, the monitor is hooked up to a Dell Dimension with an nVidia video card (no DVI connection).

Any help would be appreciated.
