Is it possible to downgrade a monitors firmware? I updated to the latest version for my G3223D, but noticed the picture quality isn't as good as the previous firmware. The brightness and "response time" looks like its been changed in the latest update.
The G3223D Drivers & Downloads page only list firmware M3C104 A02-00 dated February 8, 2024. We do not have access to older pulled firmware. If another user had saved the older firmware, they could upload it to a share. If not, all you can do is periodically check the G3223D Drivers & Downloads page to see if a newer firmware is released.
Would It be possible to contact the people that create the firmware so they could link me the previous firmware please? * No. If the Displays Team wanted users to access it, it would be on the drivers page. It is not so they must have some reason for pulling it. We are not privy to those discussions.
All you can do is periodically check the G3223D Drivers & Downloads page to see if a newer firmware is released and then test it. Getting an exchange won't help because it will also have the latest firmware.
