You should check your video card info for specs.
I don't see why it wouldn't set to 1920x1200 native res for 2407.
My older TI 4600 will do that res.
MSI site list 2 cards and no list of res specs.
FX5500-T128 (MS-8936) VGA only, you want DVI not VGA if you can help it.
FX5500-TD256 (MS-8911) DVI and VGA, this should for sure
Resolution
Maximum Video Resolution: 2048 x 1536 Pixels, if it can do that, it should do 1920x 1200

is it possible to run at native resolution the 2407WFP with a MSI Nvidia Geforce FX5500??
