Soundbar for the 1907FP
I'm considering the Dell Soundbar for the Dell 1907FP monitor. I was reading the product manual for this device, and noticed this comment:
'Insert the lime-green mini stereo plug from the rear of the Sound Bar into the computer's audio output jack'
Does this mean that if you use the soundbar you cannot also use regular speakers? Because they both share the same output jack on the back of the computer, don't they?

Hi Lawnmowerguy,
yes that's the fact. If you wanna use the Sound Bar it has to be pluged in the speaker output. Maybe you can try to plug it in the headphone connection, but there's a possibility that, if you pluged it in the headphone connection, your normal speaker output will be mutet. If that happens try a Y-Adaptor cable for your speaker output, connect your speakers and the Sound Bar to it and switch off what you don't need.
