U2410 - Flickering Lines

Hi there.

the problem -

these flickering lines appear throughout the top and a the bottom of the display,

Im running Windows 7 64bit, an ATi Radeon 4890.

Ive tested the HDMi / DVI ports of the monitor and all have the same problem, and also swapped cables.

I do not have the monitor serial, but i am in the process of retrieving it from the person i bought it off, and i am assured

that it still has 2 1/2 years left on warranty.

Cheers

    Do you see the lines running the monitor self-test?

    * Turn the monitor off
    * Disconnect all monitor cords from the computer
    * Turn the monitor on
    * The floating red/green/blue/white dialog box should appear on screen against a black background

    I am experiencing the same problem

    The monitor started to randomly create flickering horizontal scanning  lines, and also turn on and off for a split second

    I bought the NEW  monitor 7 weeks ago

    When i disconnect the monitor from the computer and look at the floating test pattern, there is no flicker

    but when i connect it again the problem returns after some time

    i tried connecting to another DVI port

    I am connected via DVI

    Windows 7 x64

    GeForce 9800 card

    Phone up dell, and they will replace it. I had a replacement panel delivered the day after i had phoned them - i'd suggest taking a picture of it because i was asked to email the guy i was on the phone to with proof of purchase and a picture.

    If you need to know where your serial number is - its hidden away on a little plastic pullout behind the usb ports on the side.

    Hope this helps
