Any update on fixing the file?

Is there someone we can call to provide us with correct file?

Come on Dell! 2 weeks to replace corrupted file that should've never made it to the server at first place? Is there someone we can call to provide us with correct file?

I have downloaded and test the following new version found on the UP2715K page:

This time the file is not corrupt. But there are big troubles using it in french. The texts in the different menus are totally out of subject! Using it in English have no problem. Also, when specifying a custom gamma value, this one is not used during the calibration. The gamma value in the ICC profile never change. Easy to see, change the tool bar to 3, click the next step and go back, the value always returns to 2.20. I regret also that Uniformity Compensation is not available for U2413 as described in the owner manual!

The user feature for Uniformity Compensation was removed from the U2413. There are no plans to include it. Our online documentation was in error and will get corrected.

Just tried out the new firmware:

Allows Hardware calibration 3DLUT on second displayport 1.2 chained monitor.  :emotion-1: Nice that I do not have to recable my desk to calibrate my 2nd U2413
Allows u'v' coordinatesShows the custom coordinates as a triangle on the CIE diagram.
Custom whitepoint still picks a strange x 0.323 y 0.329 - One would expect x 0.313

I have not yet checked the calibration quality yet with dispcalgui but it might be improved as the calibration process shows a bunch of steps now:

Step 1 of 6 Setting Optimum contrast
Step 2 of 6 Measuring Calibration patches
Step 3 of 6 Building color transform
Step 4 of 6 Loading input data tables
Step 5 of 6 Loading output data tables
Step 6 of 6 Setting target luminance
7 Minutes remaining

Maybe they finally got the message (from yummichan and others) and the gamma and brightness are now properly calibrated.

OT: stupid second monitor is now showing two dead pixels on top of each other. Was perfect on delivery. Luckily this screen has a defective card reader which likes to disconnect (also testes with laptop and other dell cables) when copying a few gigs of data off a perfect 64G sd card.

New software does not fix monitor not connected to usb problem for up2414q with displayport 1.2.

Look for connection.log as told in many threads, post here or reply to Dell that file in order to see if it is caused by USB hub issuea (by your computer).

I'm not sure if I would test new DCCS this week, I'll report ASAP

Tested & uninstalled, one of the worst piece of software I've ever seen.

-internatonalitation strings are a mess, all the text were wrong. I have to do things using my memory of where they were

-bad gamma results

-same 10 x 4 RGBW native gamma ramp measuremets, if your monitor have a tiny issue in gamma ramp... it won't correct it

Well....we had too much patience with Dell. In Europe (& USA I think) we have avaliable Eizo CS240 for 680euro... U2413 is about 450 euro (reseller) and about 680euro on inec f the EU Dell's store
Eizo CS240 is a fully calibratable, uniformity compensated, widegamut GB-LED... so... at this point of time is useless to continue with Dell. Get and Eizo and forget this kind os software support.
