UP2716D, internal speakers?

I cannot hear any sound coming from the UP2716D? I only hear sound when I plug headphones in. How to troubleshoot?

Thank you.

Here is the online UP2716D User's Guide. We can see that the UP2716D does not have built-in speakers. Pages 9 and 10 show us that the UP2716D has an Audio line-out port for external powered speakers. Do not use headphones in it.

What cable are you using to connect your PC to your display?  You'll need to be using either DisplayPort or HDMI.  In addition, if you want audio to play out of the display's audio output connector, you'll need to choose your display as your audio output device in Windows, which you can do by going to Start > Settings > System > Sound.

This display does not have speakers, so  the information you have provided will not work in this situation.
