Why is there a DVI Cable?
I purchased a Dell Insperion 531 which came with a E228WFP 22" LCD flat screen.
I'm currently hooked up with a standard VGA monitor.
The system came with a cable(DVI?) that has 2 sets of 9 pins at either end.
I've not been able to find a port to plug this into.
Is there a secret port hidden in the tower somewhere or do I need to upgrade my video card?

It is a standard for DELL displays. The display can connect via VGA (analog) or DVI (digital) cable to a computer. DVI connection has a little better image quality.
If you satisfied with your image quality via VGA, you don't need to change your graphic card.
