We are stating a POC foor implementing DDboot with Quest netvault

We are getting the following results

1 windows 2003 with sql -> dd boost  -> datadomain

       File backup is working good   -> DDboost is working -> time reducents

       SQL backup is working good  -> ddboost isworkging no errors -> no time effort

2 windows 2003 64 bits -> dd boost -> datadomain

       system is generating errors missing dll files

I have asked quest for support and this is there comment

    - did you re-install the client or chose to use the .dlls I provided?

 

- were the 3 dlls "C:\Program Files (x86)\Quest Software\NetVault Backup\dynlib\bit64\" on SRV099 older than the ones I
provided?

- I believe the issue is that Windows 2003R2 is not supported by DD Boost.

The only way to find out would be to call EMC/Data Domain for clarification.

 

Have done that already?

 

It could be that this Windows version cannot work with DD-Boost in which case we won't be able to solve this if EMC does not support
