How to delete the backup after cloning automatically

Hi,

my environment is:

iam doing a weekly full bakup with incrementals as daily. iam writing my data on an advanced file type on CX300.
my demand is: i want to do cloning after every full weekly backup , but i need the data to stay on disk for 2 weeks. so is it right to set the retention policy to 2 weeks and the browse policy to one year just for recovery

if i set the browse policy to 2 weeks, i could
recover online for 2 weeks, right?

    Correct.

and if the retention is 2 weeks, this means that the
data will stay for 2 weeks where it was originally
    backed up.

    Correct.

for the clone, it wil be on tape, so if the retention
is 1 year, i can reuse this tape after one year for
writing on again, will the networker save this
    information, and use it automatically?

It will use automatically if you configure retention for cloning pool.

You can't have browse go beyond retention - browse policy is shared by both instances (original and clone). You could set browse and retention to two weeks and retention for clone to a year.

If you set retention to two weeks, won't the backups be kept for three weeks. It will not recycle the full backup until all of the incr backups associated with the full backup are available for recycling.

In terminology we use saveset retention is set to two weeks as each saveset is kept for two weeks. Backup cycle on the other hand is the one that will keep it until whole backup cycle items had their retention of two weeks expired.
