Networker DB2 support
Hi all,
I would like to know what is the latest DB2 version supported by Networker - NMDA module.
Does Networker 8.0 support DB2 10.1 databases? and NW 8.1?
I would like to know also if cluster databases like DB2 pureScale are currently supported or are there any plans to support them?

Hi,
DB2 10.1 is supported by NMDA 1.5, 1.2, 1.1, so you should check, which version of NetWorker is compatible with each version of NMDA.
NMDA 1.5 supports NetWorker (Server, Client and Storage Node) versions 7.6 and up
NMDA 1.2 supports NetWorker (Server, Client and Storage Node) versions 7.5 and up
NMDA 1.1 supports NetWorker and Oracle StorageTek Enterprise Backup (Server, Client and Storage Node) versions 7. 5.x and newer.

All your questions are answered by something called Software Compatibility Guide (well, almost all as I could not find reference to pureScale feature).
