The error is "alispsdbpr nsrsqlsv 25 error loading VDI.DLL. %s 1 0 21 Class not registered"

Below are the system environment

Sounds as dll needs to be re-registered. But that's just wild guess... other things to check is to have latest SQL build for module an perhaps use 7.4 for that client. Not sure what you have on server, but with 7.3SP3 you had to have patch to support 5.1 module properly.

You need to re-register the database. I resolved one similar error by re-registering database.

The method to do it should be easily available on MS.

No, that's not resolved my problem.

Folks, if you have the same problem like me you must installed this Microsoft 913100 hotfix for SQL Server 2000 package http://support.microsoft.com/kb/913100/ , and your problem goes away.

The main problem is beacuse I have Operating System 2003 x64 and SQL 2000 x86, and Networker can't find file VDI.DLL in "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server" because when I install x86 application (in this case SQL2000) on x64 OS you automatically create another folder "Program Files (x86)" which is results of missing DLL.
