Dell 5525 Web Interface - can't assign VLAN PID

I am using the Web Interface for the 5524.

I created a vlan and when I go to the Port Settings page under VLANS  and click edit, the PVID field is gray and I cannot enter the new VLAN ID.

All want is to have ports 21-24 in VLAN2

thanks

Hi, is the port in access mode, trunk mode or general mode? Will it let you configure it in the CLI?

    I think I have it.

I went into the port settings and selected the port i wanted to add to a new vlan (2).

I had to set it to general in order to add it to vlan 2 (attached).

    I think this is correct?

    thanks

The PVID for the general port mode is the vlan untagged traffic is passed on, so if that is what you want to pass that should work. If you are only passing untagged traffic you can use access mode and just set the vlan on those ports to 2, not the PVID.
