S4810 Firmware

Hello,

I have an S4810 currently running firmware 8.3.10.2.

I would like to update it to the latest, but cannot find version 8.3.12 (or any version of 8. that is newer than what I currently have) that the release notes for version 9. state that I need to update to first.

Any help would be great.

Thanks!

Hello, could you please send your service tag through DM? https://www.dell.com/community/en/direct-messaging The reason why I ask you this is because since there are several models found in S4810 series like S4810p, S4810-on , S4810 etc...

    In the meantime,

    https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000182885/ftos-for-s-series-s4810-platform

Your firmware version is 8.3.10.2 but, if you want to upgrade to 9.14.x.x , then you need 8.3.12.0v before upgrade to 9.14.x.x.

9.14.x.x file is a bit a large, so that we cannot upgrade directly from 8.2.10. to 9.14.x.x

If you want to upgrade to the latest version, first you need to increase the SSD size.

And if they want to increase the size of SSD then first you need to upgrade 8.3.12.0v on switch.

    Respectfully,

Hi, thanks for choosing Dell. The OS 8 is too outdated, I'm afraid. (OS 9 is okay) Please see the link below. https://dell.to/3N1Lnsb

Hi, Unfortunately, I can't find older versions as well. I don't have reach to force10 websites if you have you can check there for archive OS8 versions. I'm not sure Dell Digital Locker has Force10 OS8 versions but also you can look there.
    I couldn't find for S4810 but there are some S series Force10 OS8 Software https://dell.to/3wVqKXW

From what I've been able to tell, any force10 website link redirects to the same Dell page.

    Hello Diver_1845,

I picked up your post. Young is currently out of office.

I'm still in progress trying to find 8.3.12.0.  I'll also update Young.

We will follow up when we have more information.

    Hello DELL-Young E and Dell -Charles R

I am facing the same problem! I was also unable to find the OS8 firmware (8.3.10.2). I accessed the link provided, but the username and password are not valid anymore. Please, can you give me another credential to access the system to download the firmware?

    @Dell-y

    Thank you.
