Hi all,

I have two S4810 switch and installed firmware is 8.3.12.1 & 9.1(0). 

Can I direct upgrade to 9.10.

    If you have already upgraded the firmware, I would not recommend downloading any other boot code to flash. I would leave it as is.

    Yes, normally it is possible to update from 8.3.12.1 to 9.10.

    thanks. I m able to upgrade to latest version. however do i need to install boot flash version which is 1.2.0.2. in show version i can see latest version installed.

    Hello,

     

    If you have the ON version of the switch, the firmware package would be for the boot code. However, if you have the regular version, I believe this is a part of the package.

    I have just downloaded 9.14.1.8 and upgraded. I am just worrying as its showing boot flash 1.2.0.2. will be any impact ?
