Setup New PowerConnect 2816 for VOIP VLAN

Hello,

I have a new 2816 that I want to set up with 2 separate VLANS, one for data and one for VOIP phones. I have created two VLANS - VLAN1 is for normal network (PCs, server, and printers), VLAN 2 is for VOIP phones. VLAN 1 port controls are all set to U. I set VLAN 2 port controls to T. The interface won't allow me to change VLAN 1 to T, so I am not sure if this is an issue or not to keep the VLANs apart. DHCP is already coming from a Sonicwall, so that isn't an issue. The phones will probably have static IPs in them. What other settings do I need to change so that they are separate and the phones work correctly? Also, is there a QOS that I need to set for VLAN 2 ports?

Thanks for the guidance.
