Spanning Tree Topology Change Received: MSTID:
Hi guys I have a ten gig switch with two uplink ports in a portchannel and a seperate one as one gig to the same upstream switch. Everything seems to be working fine but i keep getting these log messages in the switch.

Can someone tell me why I might be getting these messages

Both switches have rstp enabled. There should not be any topology change messages as the they are uplink ports which do not shut down. Is this a message that does not have any relevance or is there some kind of stp activity going on that I should be aware of?

I would not be worried about this message it is sending spanning tree changes about a change on a switch to the other switch. Just general information.

Hello,
it is hard to help you only with a message in the logs. It could be some ports are flapping.
I suggest you to check with technical support the logs, the topology and they can suggest you all tests in order to determine the cause of the issue.

Do you have MST(Multiple Spanning Tree) configured on the uplink device and or this switch? You are seeing that a change topology change ( normally a port coming on or going off) on the subnet 192.168.0.251. It is normal to see these notifications.
If you have an end port where someone is plugging in a device or removing a device you can see this type of response. You can configure the end ports as portfast.
