I purchased a Bluetooth 350 card from Dell and installed it last night... Went to the dell website and installed the newest drivers (R112482). When I run the bluetooth application (not even connecting any bluetooth devices), though, I get a TosOSEX.exe (one of the Toshiba bluetooth services) and services.exe that take over 95-99% of my cpu cycles and make my computer unusable...
If I close down bluetooth manager both of these services keep on running until I kill them, which then frees up my laptop. Basically I can't use the bluetooth card b/c it makes my pc unusable...
Anyone else had this problem or have ideas on how to fix it ?
I don't have this problem with the latest Dell/Toshiba stack, but the latest driver update also includes a firmware update for the module which runs ahead of the driver installation. Was that successful?
Yes, I installed the new driver and it looks like it updated the firmware too. I've tried a couple times and no matter what I do, these same .exe's take up over 90% of my cpu... I'm stuck.
I have read that the Dell Wireless 350 can use Windows XP SP2 built in Bluetooth stack, but you would need to rename a file that Dell has changed as part of their OEM installation.
