I use a Latitude E6400; XP, wifi for my router. All worked fine until I tried to make a Blue Tooth connection between the laptop and my phone. Several things went wrong and finaly the problem is that Dell ControlPoint Connection Manager does not finish. The only way to stop was the on/off button. Starting again did also starts Dell ControlPoint Connection Manager. I stopped this with Ctrl/Shif/Esc and in the taskmanager stop. Then I tried to make a system restore, starts good, but cannot go further than ""saving your settings', before the PC has to stop (and start again). I have tried this several times, but no success.
