I have a Dell Wireless 5530 HSPA Mini-Card Rev.A00 ( Ericsson F3507G) and am trying to get working in an Inspiron 1525 laptop running a fully updated Vita 32bit ultimate. I know the card is fine as it works ok in a studio 1555 running Win7 64bit.
It shows in device manager ok but I cannot find a driver for it. I have tried various downloads from dell some which install mobile broadband managers but still the device lacks a driver.
So far tried:
DELL_WIRELESS-5530-HSPA-MINI_A00_R198215
DELL_WIRELESS-5530-HSPA-MINI_A02_R197332
DELL_WIRELESS-5530-HSPA-MINI_A06_R220877
DELL_WIRELESS-5530-HSPA-MINI_A07_R220893
R159896
R164067
I've tried ericsson drivers also but to no avail.
Can this work on the 1525? Does anyone have a suitable driver please?
Thank you for your reply I will try that, but as far as i was aware different cards have revision numbers and mine is A00 on the card whereas that is A14.
i am using dell inspirong 1525 notebook with windows 7 ultimate. i have dell 5530 hspa mobile broadband mini card. I try install R2N08, A14 R2511276.exe. But is not possible to install. erro message displayed
Please help me how i can install my wireless mobile broadband 5530 card on my inspiron 1525 laptop
I'm afraid I never got it working either, and i am not sure that it is compatible with the 1525. As I posted i had it working on the studio 1555 but couldn't in the 1525.
I have had to update the firmware before it would accept the drivers and I am using Vista Ultimate so why dont you try that first then try the drivers.
