I have a Novatel wireless 5700 card by Dell supplied by verizon. It has worked great but recently it seem to go dormint when im working a Z comes up on the dell mobile broadband window. Ihave to disconnect and reconnect to wake the card up.

I talked to verizon no help. Then to Dell and they told me to call Toshiba to have my sleep mode on my computer turned off. So went to Best Buy and told by the geek squad that my computer doesnt have a sleep mode unless i us hibernation. My computer is not going to sleep its my wireless card.

They also said that they have never seen a wireless card do this before.

So now hopefully someone can help me with some advise besides throwing it out the window and running it over...LOL

I have a toshiba satellite A 305 W/vista.
