Please help - removing modem socket blanks
Hi everyone,
I have just bought a Dell C600 which was supposed to have a modem/LAN according to the seller but it has the following blanks on the sockets for the phone and LAN cable:
I have checked under the RAM cover and there doesnt seem to be a miniPCI modem card there so I presume it hasnt got a modem as there is no PCMCIA cards either.
I will probably buy a MiniPCI modem card for it. Could anyone tell me how to remove the plastic covers which sit over the modem and LAN sockets? I have tried to pick them out but they seem to sit in there pritty firmly.
Any help would be appriciated!
Anton.

Thank you for using Dell's Community Forum.
Those tabs are not made to be removed, so we don’t have any set procedure on how to remove those.
