What did you do to try to fix your problem with IE?  Which version of Windows are you running?  How do you connect to the internet (cable/dsl/dialup, through a router)?  Have you removed all spyware and malware from your system.  Give us some details and perhaps someone can help.

I have window XP home edition, SP1, I got rid off of an adware dtiein.dll, right now I do not have virus or hackers, but my EI 6 is not working properly , every time I want to use this browser, I got CAN NOT FIND THE SERVER-can not open the page.I tried differents ways to fix it, I did not succeed.I have AOL as a internet provider, and I am using dial-up.I am using Nescape as a browser, I am happy with this browser. Can I update my windows to SP2, or I need first, to fix my EI. Any suggestion I will appreciate.

Try downloading and running winsockfix for Windows XP from the Here and if that doesn't work try lspfix from Here.

Thank for your reply, I tried both and still it did not work. I really I do not know what else could be. May be my AOL provider is not configurate well.
