Problems installing internal bluetooth card software

Hi, I just ordered the internal bluetooth card for my Inspiron 8600 (which shipped rather quickly i might add :) )

Anyway, it was an easy task to insert the card into the machine. When I turned on the machine, the blue light turned on, and it detected the new hardware. I pointed it at the drivers I downloaded and it said it installed correctly.

Then I went to set up the actual software that came with the download, it gave me a funny error message. It configures the windows installer, then says "To install WIDCOMM Bluetooth Software you must have Administrator privileges." I found this odd at first, because the account I use, named Aaron Parecki is set as an administrator account. But I logged out, and logged in as Administrator. I ran the program, and the same thing happened.

I don't know why it thinks the account is not an administrator. I even booted into safe mode, but then the windows installer couldn't run. Does anyone know of an alternate way to install this software? Or is there some other way to configure my bluetooth card, because it looks like the drivers are all installed correctly.

Try disabling any anti-virus software that is running in the background.

Thanks! I had to force Norton to shut down, instead of just disabling it, and I also was using a modified shell (explorer.exe) so I set that back to the original. I got it to install just fine!
