If your cordless phone is 2.4 GHz, then likely it is interfering with your wireless router which works in the same frequency range. You might try changing the channel (1-11) on your wireless router and see if the problem goes away?

Same problem can occur when using an older 900 MHz cordless phone system, swapped my cordless phones out with the newer 5.8 GHz. Haven't had any wireless problems since. Cordless security video camera's and some wireless intrusion detection systems  will also interfer with wireless routers.
