5050 small form doesn't see drive
Trying to power on a dell 5050 but it doesn't see the drive. I've tried another drive and tried reseating all the connections inside the case. The cd-rom gets power and works but I don't think the hard drive is receiving enough power to power the drive. The drives work in other computers so I know its not the drive. The pc powers on and like I said its able to load a cd-rom. I did go into bios and check the boot sequence and the HD is the first one then the cd-rom. I ran diagnostic and it gave me an error for the drive 0141, 88242 not sure what the numbers mean.
What else should I check.

Hi Chris97654,
Can you send me a PM with the service tag?
Can you check in the BIOS/setup to see if the HDD is detected? (it should be listed in System Information)
Please try disconnecting the DVD drive and connecting it's power connector to the HDD. Then swap it's SATA cable with the HDD (at both ends)
If it still isn't detected or still failing diagnostics, try the SATA cable in the other SATA port on the motherboard.
Let us know how you get on.
